It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the MacDonald family announce the peaceful passing of their loved one at St. Catharines General Hospital, , following an illness with family by his side throughout his final days. Loving son of the late Margaret and Michael MacDonald. Loving father of Amanda MacDonald (John) and Amy MacDonald (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Tara Groat, Krysta Groat and Nathan Hoven, Landon Hoven. Survived by brothers: Colin, Walter, Danny (Roxanne), Anthony and sisters: Christina, Brigid, Philomena (Walter), Bernadette (David), Pauline (Robert), Florence (Peter). Predeceased by brothers; Paul, Angus, John , Andrews and sister Agnes Jennex. William will be missed by family and many friends. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home at 11am on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 . Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON.
