What can I say about you?  Everything that is good.  You were always a joy to be with when a little girl.  With fair curly  hair and so very pretty you  were quiet and obedient and helpful.  You grew up to be a fine woman, caring and helping your parents and brothers.  My wonderful, happy  memories of you are very precious to me as I was a very young teenager when you were born so I enjoyed seeing you nearly every day.  We will all miss you so much. Dear John Henry, (this is how I know you) I'm cousin Carmen, uncle Willie's daughter.  It was so sad to hear about Violet's passing away but I'm sure she's in the place where she worked for and deserves free from pain and suffering.  My treasured memory of Violet, is of her playing the piano on quite a few Sunday nights at nanna Rozina and nannu Salvu's house.  We would all be around her listening to the lovely music which she loved playing.

I prayed lot for her when I knew she was in great pain.  Today I offered Holy Mass for the repose of her soul, though I am positively sure she is in God's loving Arms..

Violet was like a sister to me. We were brought up together in Brighella Street, Hamrun, at Nanna's house. I was so pleased to meet up with her, albeit for the last time, last year.
