Passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side Saturday, November 27, 2010. Beloved husband of Irene. Loving dad of Jeanne (Peter) Alderton. Grandfather of Shannon, Brandon and Benjamin. Robert will be fondly remembered by his large extended family members and former colleagues at Brampton Brick. Visitation will be held at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre (8190 Dixie Rd., Brampton, N. of Steeles Ave. 905-456-8190) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass to take place at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (940 North Park Dr., Brampton) at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Bethell House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
