It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mary Ann McCabe on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 88 years in Inglewood, Ontario with family by her side. Mary was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 21, 1933 to the late Joseph and Catherine Connolly.
Beloved wife of the late Hugh McCabe for 42 wonderful years. Devoted mother to Karen (William Patterson), and pre deceased by son Joseph (Janet). Cherished grandmother to Danielle and great-grandmother to Ava. She will missed by her brother Peter, and her extended family in Scotland. Mary’s memory will be held in the hearts of her many extended grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton (North of Steeles Avenue) 905-456-8190, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm -8pm. Mass will take place at St. John’s Fisher Catholic Church, 300 Balmoral Dr. Brampton, on Wednesday, August 18 at 11am. Visitation at funeral home prior to mass from 9:30am-10:30am. Interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
