On Monday morning, peacefully at home, in Burlington, ON after a lengthy illness. Son of the late William and Madeline Thomas. Beloved husband of Geraldine for 37 years. Roy will be missed by his stepson Gary Campbell (Gaye), grandchildren Darren, Jeremy (Sylvie) and Megan (Tim Medeiros), and great grandchildren Madison and Abigail Medeiros. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Bill (Carol), Norm (Helen) and sister in laws Sadie, Joy, Freda and Carol. Predeceased by his brothers Reg, Hartwell, Don and Ron. A favorite uncle to 17 nieces and nephews and their children. Relatives and friends will be received at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd., Brampton (N. of Steeles Ave., 905-456-8190) on Thursday March 24, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service to be held on Friday March 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior.
