Dear Barb and family, 
I am devastated that my friend and buddy Joan passed away so suddenly. I am so comforted that I saw her in August after 12 years. I met her when I had just turned 14 and we were tight ever since.  I will miss her phone call every Sunday morning.  She never had an ill word to say about anyone.  She had regrets but never dwelled on them, just made the best of what she was dealt. I learned a lot from this special lady. Humility, dignity, and the meaning of 'true friendship'.  Thank you and your sons for looking after her and for your visits. She has a special place in my heart and I will love her for always.  Bless you and your family. Tricia

Please accept our condolences in Joan's passing. Even though I (Reid) hadn't seen her for years, I often thought of her because I always remembered when you were living on Mortimer Ave. she had gone to a Hank Snow concert and she brought me a picture of Hank and the Rainbow Ranch Boys. She is in a better place now and can re-unite with Uncle Russell, Aunt Mary, Norm and Joe.
