Recuerdo al Sr. Domenic Maida en él Condominio Huapinoles , de aquí de Acapulco Gro.  Era un hombre muy alegre al que le  gustaba bailar y recuerdo que decía que a  los Mexicanos  solo les gustaba él deporte del fútbol que recuerdos , espero que descanse en paz.

I really enjoy my father and the great memories hey gave me. He laughed with me all my life and taught me to keep fighting and to be strong. When times were tough with mother Maria he always felt I let him down so I wanted to apologize to him and may he rest in peace forever.  I love you Dad!

I remember Uncle Dominic as a warm, bold yet humble man with a probing intuitive intelligence,
a wonderful smile and a lovely sense of humour.

My favourite memory was coming home to find Uncle Domenic sitting around our kitchen table regaling my mother and several of his other siblings with his stories and jokes.    As these were usually inclement days, most were not required to be at work.  Hence, the din of laughter and talk twist the siblings would gone on for hours.     These were afternoons were most precious for the bothers and sisters.

Uncle Domenic played an immense role in our many lives.  
He was clever at realizing the many opportunities that existed and generously shared that knowledge.
An advocate for his extended family we all benefited from Uncle Domenic's insights into everything around him and his invitation to
come, work hard and do it yourself.

Uncle Domenic we cherish your love and your drive to ensure that your entire family
had an opportunity to a better life.

Uncle Dominic, we toast you!  



  Mary ((Grazia Maria) Pasquino

If it weren't for my Uncle Domenic we would not be in Canada.  He was the trail blazer who made the path from Italy to Canada for all his brothers and siters.  He was a true leader in the family, someone my mother always looked up to.  He will be missed.  Our condolences to the family of Uncle Domenic.

He was my uncle, my mom's eldest brother. One of my fondest memories as a young child came one christmas when he and two of his sons arrived at our door with a bag full of wrapped christmas gifts for my family. It was a great visit, I was allowed to stay up and jump on my parents bed with the help of my cousin. 
I'm thankful that he introduced my parents to winters in Acapulco.  They share many good memories.

My Father was a man who had a deep love for his family, he displayed this in everything that he did. He came to Canada with a few dollars in his pocket to start a new and better life for himself and his family. He worked very hard and created wealth and stature, he acomplshed a great deal with his limited education and experience. My Father taught me to work hard and to excell at everything that I tried. I hope that my Father has found peace and happiness in his final resting place, he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

My grandfather was a very ambitious man and lived life to the fullest with passion. I will always have fond memories with the family around the dinner table and time spent in Acapulco playing on the beach.
You will always be remembered!

My father was not considered  a tall man but he was definitely big in stature.  He taught me about strength,  determination and hard work and he will be sadly missed.   with much love,
