My sincere and deepest sympathy to Thomas’ loved ones.  My memory of Thomas was being a grandma figure as he was a childhood friend of my grandchildren, Brendan, Nathan and Miranda Stowers.  Always a wonderful friend to them my heart is extremely saddened for your loss.

I had the pleasure of knowing Thomas during the late elementary years of our boyhood. Thomas was the true family friend to the Stowers family, creating friendships with myself, my brother Brendan, and also my sister Miranda. 

In 2009 my family and I moved to Ancient Oaks, where Thomas lived right down the street. My brother Brendan came to know Thomas first, where the two immediately hit it off, playing Call of Duty in Bailey’s
loft area for many late summer nights. Eventually Brendan brought me over one day and Thomas and I took a liking to each other immediately and the rest was history. 

Everyday I could during the time I lived there, Thomas and I would be spending time at each others house, lighting bottle rockets in his back yard, playing airsoft in the neighborhood. 

I remember for my 10th birthday, I was given tickets to Disney Quest and I was allowed one friend to come along and I remember how instantly I chose Thomas. We had a blast that day, playing bumper cars, creating our rollercoasters, feasting on the overpriced turkey legs that Disney sells. What a good day. 

Eventually my parents ended up moving away from the neighborhood, as well as the school where Thomas attended in 2012. We kept in touch for the first couple of years but as the time grew, we found ourselves more distant than I would want. 

Thomas is a memory of the wholesomeness of childhood and a friend I can truly say has made a profound impact on my development and I am forever indebted to him as a saving grace in a time where my life had great difficulties. I love you Thomas Bailey and miss you brother. 

One of our earliest memories of Tom, always happy and smiling. You put up such a great fight and were taken far too soon. You will be so missed by all your family and friends in America and the UK.  We're so sorry not to be able to make it to the Celebration of your life. With love, Anne, Colin & Alex xxx
