Steven Clemens Palmer, age 73, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home in Bradenton, FL. Born in Gloversville, NY on July 23, 1949, Steven was the son of Harry R. Palmer, Jr. and Meredith E. Snyder Palmer. Steven was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Deborah Palmer Allinger.
He is survived by his son, Steven C. Palmer, Jr. (Rochelle); brother, Alan Palmer (Rome); niece, Jesstina Drake and his domestic partner, Diane Hofstetter.
Steven lived most of his life in central New York State. Graduating from Morrisville AG and Tech with a degree in accounting, Steven was a dispatcher manager in transportation. Upon retiring from Riccelli Enterprise, he became a commercial driver for Pep Boys in Cicero, NY and Bradenton, FL
Steven dearly loved the Adirondacks and most especially Eagle Bay. He was an avid hockey fan and season ticket holder to the Utica Devils, Comets, then Syracuse Crunch and finally the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Steven was a member of the Lakewood Ranch-Sarasota #2855 Elks and the Anna Maria Island Moose Lodge #2188.
Services will be private following cremation.
