Sharon Sue Hudon, age 68, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. Sharon was born on October 2, 1953 in Sarasota, Florida, to the late Robert William Campbell, Sr. and the late Helen (Gartland) Campbell.
Sharon graduated as a Registered Nurse from Manatee Junior College in 1973 and worked for many years at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida and All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She enjoyed horseback riding and hiking, was an avid fan of the Bucs and the Gators, and had a passion for skydiving. She amassed over 1,200 skydives and over 12 hours of freefall, jumping from jets, hot air balloons, helicopters, biplanes, and many other types of aircraft as well as a celebrated BASE jumping bridge in West Virginia.
Sharon is survived by her Husband, Spencer John Hudon, Sr.; children, Spencer John Hudon, II (Christie) and Stacey Lynn Hudon; two grandchildren, Arianna Mae Hudon and Elianna Ruby Hudon; and two siblings, Robert William Campbell, Jr. (Heather) and Samuel Kirk Campbell. She was also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and jump buddies within the skydiving community.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Robert William Campbell, Sr. and Helen (Gartland) Campbell, and her brother, Rick Campbell.
Her funeral service and burial were held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Manasota Memorial Park, in Bradenton, Florida 34203.
