Josie Mae Whitson was a caring mother grandmother and friend. She left this world worshiping our Lord and Savior on February 2, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born August 13, 1934 in Bluefield West Virginia.
She was a care giver for many years. After she retired she still gave her nursing skills and her caregiving experience to many, many more. She was a member of the Happy Gospel Church. When she wasn’t able to attend, she would watch through social media and SBN “Jimmy Swaggart”.
Josie is survived by five of her six children; Audrey Cox, her husband, Dewey Cox, Diane Ramsey, her husband, Wallace Ramsey, Allan Whitson, his wife, Melinda Whitson, her son Billy Whitson and her daughter Marie Willhide-Cinotto, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life at Happy Gospel Church March 5, 2022 @ 3:00pm. 1915 53rd Avenue E, Bradenton 34208. There will be a small gathering after @ 3415 40th Terrace E., Bradenton 34208.
