Like my brother Danny, I too will never forget playing together as teenagers, riding bikes, shooting bb guns, skateboarding, playing pinball and riding his dirt bike.  I'll remember Jason always wearing a smile. So sorry for your loss Pauline and Jon.  

I just want to say I'm deeply saddened by the loss our wonderful coworker in the management office at work for The Dilweg Office and Sarasota City Center.  Jason Tasler was one of the most laid back kind hearted person you would ever meet especially that Halloween day when we passed out candy to the groups of children that came in.  Jason never got mad if he did we never saw it in him while at work.  As they say life is short never sweat the small stuff.  I will always remember the conversations we had and always ask if I ate anything yet while he went to grab his lunch to bring me something if I didnt eat yet.  Oh And yes he knew I got my coffee with our maintenance person when I'd come into work as they both would say I got my priorities straight for my night shift in Security.  The moral is do not go home from work mad you never know when your life will be over.  We are all sorry for this great loss at work.  Rest in peace Jason Tasler!

With just a small group of kids in our neighborhood, living 5 miles out of town, we were lucky enough to be forced to form our own motley crew to fill time with.  Jason and Jonathan both took their turns watching me until my parents got home from work.  I thought it was so cool that these older kids took the time to play with me, teach me games on their computer (Winter Olympics game), sharing collectable toys, and chasing cats around the house.  

The core of this group of friends were all 4-7 years older than me, and being the awkward outlier always felt like I was hanging out with my brother's friends.  But Jason never made me feel like that.  He took the time to seek me out, sometimes calling me instead of my brother to come over to play.  That really meant a lot to me, obviously, cause I remember those days vividly still, 30+ years later. 

I'm sure that he continued to make connections with people like that long after the Taslers left Albuquerque.  I wish I had stayed in better touch with him, but I was young and people grow apart.  I'm so saddened to hear of his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this terribly difficult time.  

If it brings any comfort at all, please know that Jason was a source of friendship and comfort to me when my best friend had moved away and I was left feeling like an awkward tag-a-long.  I will always remember him fondly, and smile at the memories of hanging out in your basement, at the straight-away, the bus stop cave, or up in the mountains.  Take care, and God bless.


Jason and I used to work for a company in Las Vegas, NV called Identifix...We sat next to each other 8 hours a day for about 9 months...When I 1st heard him speak, I knew he was from the midwest but couldn't put my ears in gear. When he told me K.C. I knew he was from Missouri like me because of how we sometimes say certain things...We became very good friends until his departure...You will truly be missed my friend...Even though you are a Yankee in our state of mind! Another memory was we were playing golf in Vegas and some dude who was with us yelled in Jason's backswing on the tee, "look at the pretty birdies!" And Jason snapped hooked one out of bounds, I am still lmao every time I think of that day...thank you Mr & Mrs Tasler for bringing such a good friend and man into this world for us all to know and love...He will never be forgotten!

I am heartbroken for you in the loss of your brother, Jonathan. Words are never sufficient when a life is so tragically cut short. Please know that you, your  mother, and all who are impacted by Jason’s passing will be in my daily prayers. 

Jonathan and Pauline, my heart breaks for you.  Seems like I watched Jason grow up.  My prayers are for those left behind.

Pauline, no words can Express the tragedy that you and your family are enduring with the loss of your beloved son Jason.
