Eugene J Goode

Eugene "Gene" J. Goode, of Bradenton, FL passed away in Hospice on March 2, 2021. Gene was born in Covington, KY. He attended Boone County High School in Florence and received a football scholarship to Tulane University in New Orleans. Gene worked for Emerson Electric in Marketing and then started his own marketing firm, Sunbelt Southeast and marketed products to the big box stores, i. e. Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc.

Gene is preceded by his parents Howard and Cecelia Goode. He also is preceded by 3 sisters, Shirley Jones, Mary Biehler, and Betty Fobbe. Gene is survived by his wife, Victoria Tilson-Goode and his son, Scott Alan Goode of Los Altos, CA, a sister Patti Bailey of Proctorville, OH, and two brothers, Irvin Goode of St. Louis, MO, and Hank Goode of Georgetown, OH. He is also survived by his beloved Maine Coon cat, Rascal. Also many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
