Charlotte grew up in Rushville Ohio, married Merl Howdyshell who served in the US Army stationed in Germany. Later moved to Bradenton Florida where she was a homemaker, skilled in ceramics, and sewing. Charlotte was a true friend, good mother, and wife. When Merl passed away in 1986, she went back to school to complete her education and worked at GTE for many years. In May 1997 Charlotte and Jim Thompson were married; they enjoyed travel to the Caribbean, Las Vegas, Canoeing, visiting children and grandchildren.
She is survived by loving Husband James Thompson, daughter Kendra (George) Sage, son William (Melba) Thompson, daughter Angela (James) Harris, daughter Robin (John) Isom, foster sister Regina Stalter, nephew Rick (Reba) Snider, grandchildren Jason Howdyshell, Adora Sage,George Sage Jr., River Thompson, Sydney Thompson, great grandchildren Adelynn Harris, Skylar Harris.
He is preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Effie Nance, first husband Merl Howdyshell, Sister Anna Coey, & niece Debra Thompson.
