Born in Allentown, PA. He was the only son of Lucy (Schappell) and George Kent.
Robert was a welder and maintenance mechanic.
He was a member of Good Shepherd UCC, Boyertown.
Robert was a member of Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Co., the NRA, he was an honorary member of the PA Sheriffs Association.A well as a member of the Boyertown and Popodicon Rod and Gun Clubs.
He is survived by his children, Bruce R. husband of Bonnie K. Kent of Shanesville and Jean E. wife of Scott Thatcher of Greenville, NC. Grandchildren, Tracie Dinnocenti, Erica Metrock and Heather Lewis. Great Grandchildren, Emma and Nicholas Dinnocenti, Benjamin Dugan, Samantha Metrock,Lydia Lewis, Luca Ditore.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
