Patricia “Patti” Ann (Swavely) Moyer, age 54, wife of Leonard L. Moyer of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Born on March 4, 1968, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Faye (Shane) and the late William Swavely.
Patti was a 1986 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School. After high school, Patti worked as a legal administrative assistant for 37 years in Pottstown, starting her career with Reynier, Crocker, Allebach & Reber and more recently working with Charles D. Garner, Jr. and Wolf Baldwin & Associates. Patti strived for perfection at her job and was honored to serve so many throughout her career.
Patti had a strong faith in the Lord and was actively involved with Shanesville Alliance Church, Boyertown, and Trinity Church, Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, throughout her life.
Patti loved baseball and was a true Phillies fan through and through. Her love of baseball began with her sons, Brett and Jordan, who played for many years in Boyertown. During their baseball careers, you would find her on the sidelines, in the snack bar or in the stands for every game supporting her boys and cheering them on. Patti’s other love was the beach. She found a true sense of peace there and enjoyed many weekends throughout her summers relaxing and watching the sunsets in Cape May. Never one to sit still, Patti loved reading, scrapbooking, Disney pin collecting, doing puzzles and playing cards with her friends.
Patti leaves behind her loving husband, Leonard L. Moyer, and her two sons, Brett M. Moyer and Jordan S. Moyer; her brother, Scott Swavely, and sister, Christie Swavely; three nieces, Alexis Swavely, Britney Rapak and Kaleigh Karish, and one nephew, Austin Swavely. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Kelly Shaner and Ronda Sekela, and the family cat, Steel.
Further details for a Celebration of Life will be shared privately with family and friends.
