Born October 12, 1961 in the old Pottstown Hospital, he was a son of Shirley R. (Hoppes) Moyer of Zieglerville and the late Donald L. Moyer.
Glenn was last employed as a truck driver for Beyond the Leaf for the last 6 months. Previously he worked as a truck driver for Boscov’s, Denney Electric, and A. D. Moyer Lumber for over 42 years.
Glenn enjoyed riding his motorcycle, surf fishing, and spending time with his friends and his dog Roscoe. He was always willing to help others, whether it was drywalling, replacing a roof, or as simple as changing out a single lightswitch. He took great pride in the perfection of his work. He was a member of the board of directors at Gabelsville Athletic Association. He was also a social member at the Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company and the Boyertown Orioles Nest 22. Glenn will be remembered for his room-filling presence, love of music, and love for the community in which he lived.
Glenn is survived by his children, Stacey L., wife of Alex C. Hartman of Milford, DE, Brandon C., husband of Lindsey B. Moyer of Newmanstown, PA, and Brent A., husband of Kasey A. Moyer of Birdsboro. Grandchildren, Carsen L. Neubauer, Lilly A. Moyer, Ryker A. Moyer, Flynn A. Moyer and Arlo J. Moyer. Siblings, Scott D. Moyer of Gilbertsville, husband of Martyne, and Bonnie J. Kuser of Boyertown, wife of Larry. Glenn is predeceased by his brother Brian D. Moyer.
A Visitation will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512., on Friday February 12, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A face mask worn over your mouth and nose is required to attend, no exceptions.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
