Daniel C. Mazzenga

Sadly, Daniel Carlo “Buddy” Mazzenga, 67, of Limerick, husband of Andrea M. (Ryan) Mazzenga passed away quietly on July 4, 2024 after a brief and unexpected illness. He was surrounded completely by family and we feel certain that he is now accompanied by our loved ones that have gone before him.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the oldest child of Harriet M. (Mazza) and Daniel A. Mazzenga. He attended school and lived most of his life in Delaware County, PA.

A carpenter by trade, home builder by profession, he proudly worked for the family business, Mazzenga Builders, for over 35 years. In his later years, he transitioned into a new field by working as a bus driver for Tri County Transit, TransNet. He thrived on the daily challenges associated with that responsibility.

Daniel is survived by a loving family. In addition to his wife, Andrea, his children are: Dana R., wife of Nicholas J. Greto of Brooklyn, NY, Daniel J. Mazzenga of Malvern, PA, and Carlie M., wife of William M. Patterson of Honeybrook, PA. His grandchildren: Oona, Billy, Marigold, and twins Ryan and Ruby. His siblings: Mark Mazzenga husband of Lori Mazzenga, Karen (Mazzenga) Salvaggio, and Thomas Mazzenga husband of Lisa Mazzenga. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473 on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11am.

Visitation will also be held at the church starting at 9:30am.

Interment immediately following at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 East Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA.
