After completing high school and earning an Associates degree in business, he later funneled that knowledge into his Real Estate Certifications and Licenses, which covered Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.
Bill worked as a Real Estate Broker with Remax Professionals in Laurel, MD. He served on the Prince George’s County Professional Standards Board. He was a well-rounded and respected broker working with land, commercial and residential, for over 50 years. Many of his peers often inquired of his vast knowledge regarding land.
Bill also served his country and was honorably Discharged as an Army Corp Ranger in 1970.
Bill was dedicated to his wife Linda Monroe Wells; when he said “…til’ death do us part”, he meant it. He spent his marriage overcoming a severe allergy to cats while assisting his first love, his wife with their second love, providing for and rescuing over 33 cats. While most folks discussed their children, Bill had ample ‘fur-baby” stories.
Bill was a member of Victory Chapel in Accokeek, MD. He was a solid believer and follower of Jesus Christ, God the Father and The Holy Spirit.
In his free time, Bill enjoyed collecting weapons, along with deer and bear hunting, chopping wood to build up a sweat, and cooking with his wife, as they prayed together every evening. He will be remembered enjoying multiple BBQ pits in Maryland, as well as Subway and Wawa hoagies, frequently chatting-up the locals, and gardening veggies and herbs, while Bill also transplanted 137 bushes, trees and shrubs for their home.
