Richard P. Dubois

Richard was born August 16, 1945 in Worcester, MA to Phillip and Katherine (Ostergaard) Dubois.

Richard had a long and rewarding career in our armed forces. As a young man in 1965 he enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent two years. After being discharged on February 17, 1967 he started his long and accomplished career with the Army. For many years Richard was an Army reservist working with the Army Corps of Engineers. Richard retired on May 31, 2007 at the rank of sergeant.

Richard had a talent for many things, most of all creating thing out of wood. He worked and thrived at many companies as an architectural woodworker and retired in 2020.

Richard leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Kathleen (O’Connell) Dubois. His children Daniel and Melissa Dubois, Caitlyn Connery, John, Michael Moulton and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard is predeceased by his brother, Daniel, who passed in Vietnam.

In lieu of flowers, thank a veteran. Richard will be interned at Joint Base Cape Cod (Otis AFB) at a date in the future.
