Michael Alan Hadley

Alan was a lifelong resident of Sagamore and attended Sagamore Grammar School. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1969 and Boston College in 1973. He was an employee of the United States Postal Service, South Station Annex for 25 years. Alan was especially interested in local current events, and also the family genealogy going as far back as the 15th century England. Alan was also interested in the associated history related to that genealogical time.

Preceding Michael in death are his father Paul , mother Mary and sister Paula Hadley.

Survivors include sisters Linda and husband Horacio D’Agastino, MD of Shreveport, LA and Barbara Hadley of Sandwich; Brother Richard Hadley of Sagamore; niece Abigail D’Agastino of LaJolla, CA and nephew Horacio D’Agostino of Shreveport, LA; and lots of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be June 3, from 9 to 10:30 am, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home in Bourne. A Funeral Mass to follow at 11 am at Corpus Christi Parish, Sandwich. Burial will follow at the Sandwich Town Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Michael’s name and sent to the Bourne Fire Dept., and EMT’s.
