Michael P. Furlong of Sandwich passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013. He was 43 years old. Michael is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Michelle Furlong; his mother, Evelyn L. Furlong, his fiancée, Carrie Yetman and her daughter, Samantha Yetman, and many friends who will miss him dearly. Michael owned and operated his own mechanic business, in addition to being a co-owner of Sweet Tomatoes Pizza. He was born on May 31, 1970 in Boston and lived most of his life in Sandwich.
Mike was a big fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Jimmie Johnson #48. Mike loved boating, movies, Foxwoods and all of his big boy toys. He was a jack of all trades and the most amazing person you could ever come across. He is irreplaceable to his family and will be greatly missed by all.
At the request of his family, funeral services will be private.
