Hersey, Margaret T. (Brennan) 93 of Monument Beach, MA, passed away at Royal of Megansett Nursing Home On Saturday September 14, 2024. She was born to the late Robert M. Brennan and Mary E. Brennan (O’Connell) in Dedham, MA on May 6, 1931.
Margaret grew up in Dedham, MA and graduated from Dedham high school.
In 1951 she moved to the Monument Beach with her husband the late Robert N. Hersey. Margaret was the den Mother of Monument beach Cub Scouts. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary post 5988. Both State and District. She loved having her Nieces and nephews and their friends camp out in the backyard, and their trips to the New Hampshire cottage. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her buddy Brit. She also enjoyed working at Gooch's and Barnstable County Hospital.
She is survived by her son Charles R. Hersey and his wife Jean of Monument Beach, MA, and her granddaughter Brit. She is preceded in passing by Robert N. Hersey (Husband), and Catherine McCann (sister)
Celebration of life will be at a later date.
