Joseph A Simone

Joseph A. Simone, 82 of Cataumet died peacefully in his home Monday, May 1,2017. He was the beloved husband of Beverly L. Simone for 31 years. He is the son of the late Lena DeNucci and Joseph Simone.

Joseph was born in Boston, Mass and grew up in Watertown. A graduate of Watertown High School, Joseph served in the U.S Airforce and then worked for Control Data Inc. for many years.

Joseph enjoyed fishing, golfing, crossword puzzles and spending time with his family.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife Beverly L. Simone, father to Danielle Scoville of Cataumet, Trace Ferrie of East Falmouth, Brad Ferrie of Ayer and Christopher Ferrie of Dallas, GA. He was the loving Papa to Megan, Bryce, Rachel, Caitlyn, Mason, Andrew, Trevor, Chace, Chad, Weston, Bayla and 3 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by 6 siblings, Peter, Thomasina, Joanne, Rita and was predeceased by Grace and Bobby.

Joseph also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A Period of Remembrance and Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 5, from 11am to 1pm in the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home located at 40 MacArthur Boulevard in Bourne.
