Bradford A. Johnson, 81, from Brockton, passed away and is survived by his nephew, Brant Johnson, niece Alisa Simoes and her husband David, great niece Andrea Simoes and great nephew Matthew Simoes; and his two brothers, Alfred and Loren Johnson. He was pre-deceased by his parents Alden and Muriel Johnson. Brad was very helpful and generous to his family. Brad loved going out to dinner and taking long rides with his niece and nephew. He was a golfer and enjoyed watching Matthew at the golf range. He had many friends that were like family Gus, Joanne, Janelle and all the Italian Kitchen staff, many neighbors, Steve of Pier View, Gray Gables Market, Ortendahl’s, Charlie Lucas and the regular coffee group. Brad was an avid reader and his favorite place to read was at the Jonathan Bourne Library, as he loved the Cape. He was very social and enjoyed discussing current topics and made friends easily. He was a 1957 graduate of Brockton High and retired from the Brockton Edison Company. To honor Brad’s request, there will be no services.
