Allen M. Reynolds, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2015. He leaves behind his partner of 23 years Barbara Daigle, his mother Lauretta Reynolds, two sons Chris Reynolds and Ryan Reynolds, a daughter Kim Reynolds, a step-daughter Mikala Vidal and four grandchildren, Kalib, Celia, Violet and Alana. He is also survived by his siblings Dennis Chappel, Bunny Bowen, Peggy Kelley, Gail Perry and Laurie Gomes-Jacobs as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Reynolds and his father Morris Reynolds.
Allen was born in Providence, RI on September 22, 1949. He graduated from Bourne High School in 1967 and went on to graduate from The Culinary Institute of America. He then became a sergeant in the Air Force, served in the Vietnam War and was awarded multiple medals. He later had a long career in the food and hospitality industry and retired in 2014.
Allen adored his children and loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies included traveling, restoring his 62’ T-bird, attending antique car shows and scuba diving.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 6 p.m. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA 02532. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Wounded Veteran Retreat Program (wvetrp.com) and sent to PO Box 619, Parkton, NC 28371.
