Mark married Pamela Dimmitt in November 1973 in Fort Collins, Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, his sister, Lynn (Wendall) Carlson, brother Phil (Jeanie) Severance, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Mark was a graduate of Fort Collins High School and attended Colorado State University.
He was employed by and retired from SPEC in Boulder in 2014.
