Kathleen Diann Perret

Kathy was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada on September 13, 1939 to Emelia and Gotthelf Fode. Kathy graduated from Rimbey High School in 1956 at the age of 16. During her life she worked and excelled in many different professional pursuits; with her final career choice being associated with Oil & Gas Companies.

Kathy was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. Kathy was an avid reader and from a very young age has always been a feline lover, and during her life has had many feline companions. She was fortunate early in life to have moved around; living in different parts of the world. This worldly experience gave her a strong foundation and good perspective of life. Kathy will be fondly remembered for her compassion for both people and animals and being a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emelia and Gotthelf Fode.

She will forever be loved and missed by her daughter Tracy (Michael) Rutherford; granddaughter, Lauren, who is the light of her life; brother, Wayne (Janie) Fode; sisters, Joy (Pierre) St. Amand and Hope (Fred) Woods; as well as, numerous loving nieces and nephews, extended family and life-long friends.

A funeral service for Kathleen will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301. After the funeral, a graveside service will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a reception from 11:30am-1:00pm at Crist Mortuary.
