Dorothy was born in Philadelphia on May 3, 1936. She attended Saint Adalbert’s grade school and graduated from Little Flower High School, class of 1954. She started playing violin at the age of 10 and was second violin in her high school orchestra.
She met Joe, the love of her life, and married him in 1957. She was a stay-at-home wife who raised 5 children: Joseph (Kate O’Neill), Ann Pruskowski (Stanley), Marie Kairys (John), Teresa Carp (Robert) and Christopher (Traci). She was the proud grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven.
Dorothy grew up in Philadelphia, Pa, moved to Plymouth Meeting, PA, and lived for the last 36 years in Boulder, CO. She enjoyed cross-country skiing, gardening, quilting and reading. Dorothy was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by family and many friends.
