Graduated from Longmont High School 1962, Attended Colorado State University before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1968. Don served during the Vietnam War as an Electronic Mechanic and often served on Shore Patrol.
Married Joyce Ann Ross December 26, 1982, during the blizzard of 82.
Hobbies: Photography, Disney, Model Trains, beloved pets and sharing time with friends and family.

Survivors: Son - Michael Joseph Ross, (from previous marriage Madeline Sue Thomas). Stepsons - Timothy (Christine)Farmer, Robert (Chris)Farmer. Sister: Marilyn Kay Scott. Many cherished extended family members and friends. Beloved fur babies - Lily and Abby
