home with loved ones at hand in Golden West Manor, after a long
illness. She was born, Catherine Mary McCormick, in Philadelphia on April 28, 1928, the youngest of five children born to Irish
immigrants. Katie married her childhood sweetheart in 1949, raised a family, and after the youngest was in school had a career in banking.
She retired from the Rockland Trust Company in 1989 as a Branch Manager after 17 years with the company. Katie's devotion to her family was limitless and she was a great friend to many. She was an exuberant and sunny presence and always sought to bring a smile or a laugh to those around her. Katie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Hill; four children; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM with a Funeral Mass following at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Boulder. Donations may be made to the Family Hospice Foundation, 1790 30th Street, Suite 308, Boulder, CO 80301.
