Barbara Ann Bowman

Barbara Ann (Lewey) Bowman of Longmont CO was called home to her Lord March 3, 2022. Born January 1, 1931, she grew up a farm girl in central Illinois, the eldest of 10 children. She married Dale Keith Bowman on October 23, 1949. Boulder CO became their home in 1961. Mom enjoyed camping, fishing, making lap quilts and embroidery. She especially enjoyed her dog, Tiny, family meals and always had family favorite cookies in the refrigerator. Mom was a member of Longs Peak United Methodist Church, Good Sam Camping Club, Boulder Red Hats, Boulder Lady Elks and she attended Cowboy Fellowship at Rinn United Methodist Church.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Keith, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children Brian (Barbara) Bowman, Amherst NH; Larry (Nancy) Bowman, Colorado Springs CO; Sherri (Mark) Brackney, Littleton CO; Dale (Pam) Bowman, Holton KS; Darrell (Barbara) Bowman, Berthoud CO and Phyllis (Dennis) Winzenried, Forsyth MO, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301. A committal service will occur Monday, March 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301.
