Wing Sun Ng

NG, Wing Sun, 88, of Quincy, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on March 15, 2012 at South Cove Manor Nursing Home in Boston. Beloved husband of late Mei Kwai Leung. Devoted father of Peter Ng and wife Lisa Ng. Father-in-law of Choi Ching Ng and late husband Allen Ng. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Ching and husband Billy Ching, Gary Ng, Jack Ng, Simon Ng, Sam Ng.

Wing Sun Ng, born in China, became a permanent resident in the U.S. in 1973. Wing was a chef at Diamond Head restaurant in Saugus, MA from 1973 to 1991. He then retired to be closer to his family, he also became a U.S. citizen in June of 1994. Wing lived simply so he can be generous to others. He always provided the best for his family, he is loved by many around him and always loved good company, good food, and good laughs. Wing loved spoiling his grandchildren, like any grandparent would. He will be missed dearly.

Family will receive relatives and friends at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 21, at Boston Harborside Waterman’s Quincy chapel - Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St., Quincy, MA 02170, prior a funeral service at 11:30 AM followed by a procession to Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.
