It is amazing how much one person can make a difference:
 How they can make you laugh out of the blue, or just simply walk in and read the room as well as you did, and always make people smile.

 I think of you often and  remember what you used to say 
the plane can go without a lot of things but not without me ;-)

It's been a year and I miss you more everyday my Murph but I love those subtle little things that remind me you're always near and forever in my heart, all our hearts. Thank you for the memories my forever friend. I only wish we had had many many more years of them...Love you into the next lifetime and beyond...

I still look at your pictures and cant believe I will never be able to harass you again. We had great conversations, teasing about the Yankees, old chat parties, your beloved Red Sox and any Boston team. No one can say you weren't a dedicated fan.  You knew the stats of everything, you remembered years and dates. God has you now, I hope you can still see us that grieve, and know how much we cared about being your friend. All kidding aside, you were special and a lot of fun. Rest now. Condolences to your family. 

Joe was there for my brother Deane and his wife Tammy over the years. He was at Palmer gatherings where I remember his kind smile and quiet faithful support for the family. I’m sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Joe. 

Dear lovely Joe.  Although I only met you a few times when I flew from England to visit my sister, Irene Boyle and family, you instantly became a very dear friend.  How we used to have fun when you teased Irene about being a Manchester United fan.  I was highly honoured that you gave me a Liverpool scarf on my last visit and I will continue to support them on your behalf.  I was so looking forward to seeing you again during my next visit in the summer, sadly that isn't to be but I will never forget your kindness and will say hi to you when I land at Logan Airport. I had a roommate years ago who was good friends with Joe online and every year for her birthday he sent her roses, and I sneezed and sneezed, so the next year for my birthday he sent me fake roses and when her birthday rolled around again, he had roses delivered to her and an assortment of allergy meds sent to me. That was over a decade ago and we've been friends since. I'm so sad he's gone.

It's been 13 years since I lived in MA & worked  with Joe but thanks to the power of FB , we  continued to live thru good & bad times together. Joe was even FB friends with 2 of my friends he never met, just knew them thru me & they truly became friends. I think that sums up Joe perfectly! We had so many laughs, I'll miss his birthday message to me next week, as someone else said, it was usually a cake thing! I recently lost one of the friends he got to know, I can only hope they meet up there & have some laughs.  I miss them both so much already.  💔

My heart breaks at the sudden loss of dear Joe. Joe was such a special man, with a wicked sense of humor. He loved to tease me about being a supporter of Manchester United football team and always had some comment to make about them, particularly if they lost a game.  Joe supported Liverpool and even gave a Liverpool scarf to my sister Linda when she visited from England, just to watch my reaction.  Whenever we had a family get together, we would always invite Joe because he was a part of our extended family, one time he brought a tray of delicious chocolate eclairs and I mentioned how they were a favorite of mine, so from then on, he brought two trays of eclairs, one to share and one just for me.  I will never forget his kindness when my siblings and our grandson passed away, he was so supportive of all our family.  He was a sweet, kind man and we will miss him very much.  Our deepest condolences go out to Edward and Gail and all Joe's family and many friends.  Rest in Peace dear Joe, you will forever be in our hearts. 

My twisted, dry sense of humor is often misunderstood. Joe is one of the few that “got it”. We”d often exchange “innuendo” without a care about all the easily offended people in this world. He was one of my favorite people I’ve worked with by far in over 15 years of airline work. Rest easy Joe.

Joe….you will always and forever be my little Peach. Nothing made me happier than to see your beautiful smile when we shared conversations and laughter. I considered you as a big brother. Jose and I will both miss you so dearly. You always made us laugh, and those are memories we will always treasure. There are no words to express this loss. We love you so much. 

I cannot believe such a beautiful soul has left us.
Your stories and laughter that I have shared with you will always remain in my heart.

Joe had a heart of gold and was so nice.  I met him when I started working for the airlines. He will be missed.
