Violet S. Cole

Violet S. Cole, 92, of Booneville died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Landmark Nursing and Rehab. She was born July 14, 1919 to Chester L. and Dura Turner Smith. She was a member of the East Booneville Baptist Church and was retired from Brown Shoe Manufacturing.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rickey Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Chandlers Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by, 1 daughter, Linda McAnally of Phoenix, AR; 2 sons, Harold (Betty) Cole and Randel (Patsy) Cole both of Booneville;1 sister in law, Rita Wayne Eaton of Michigan City, IN; 6 grandchildren, Mark Cole, Jeffrey Cole, Lanette Ledford, James McAnally, Suzanne Chandler and Keith Cole; 7 great grandchildren, Ashlee Lutz, Clayton Cole, Chris Ledford, Kimberly Parker, Nick Ledford, Kayla Chandler and John Chandler; 3 great-great grandchildren, Molly Parker, Drew Parker and Mary Reeves Lutz.

She is preceded in death by parents, her husband, Jimmie Ray Cole and 1 brother, Emory A. Smith.

Visitation will be from 5-9pm on Friday, August 19, 2011 and until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
