Frances Ilene Gaines Taft, 86, of Booneville died Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Landmark Nursing and Rehab in Booneville. She was born November 1, 1926 to Evan and Annie Williams Gaines. She was a Methodist and a retired secretary.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. David Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by two sisters, Lillian Gaines and Sammie Gaines James both of Booneville; two brothers, Fred (Jean) Gaines of Booneville and Robert (Mary Ann) Gaines of Lexington, TN; two nieces, Martha Lynn (Chuck) Davis of Tupelo and Emily McWilliams of Lexington, TN; and two nephews, Stan (Jennifer) Gaines of Germantown, TN and Steve (Candi) Gaines of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest “Bob” Taft; her parents; and two sisters, Edith Gaines and Dena Gaines.
Visitation will be 12-2 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
