William was a typical teenager who had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He attended San Diego High School up until he was drafted by the United States Army while in the 11th grade. He served in World War II from 1941 to 1945 during his 5 years of service. Falling in love is a huge milestone for any person. Just knowing that you have met that special someone is a magical feeling.
