Raymond lived the life of a cowboy, raising day old calfs by bottle feeding them until they were old enough to graze. He liked to ride horses and owned many throughout the years, including mini horses. He had raised pigs, sheep and emu, alongside building an aviary for pheasants, peacocks and other variety of small birds. He was an expert on fence construction as that was his trade. Once he bought his 5 acre ranch in Jamul, he was quick to install chain link surrounding the property so he could get it ready for his animals. He was always well know. For taking great care of his family, and friends who became extended family.
His death was preceded by his parents, Henry Ybarra and Simona Gonzales, as well as his 9 siblings; Elisa, Mitchell, Gabriel, Carmelita, Jessie, Frank, Tony, Elvira and Poncho. He is survived by his wife Celia, his son Raymond, his daughter Reina and grandson Maxximus. He will be greatly missed and was always loved.
