I know my mom is thinking of Lorraine often along with all of her other friends, who have gone me for her. She has no one left and we’re not sure that we will have our mom much longer. She is 93 now and not doing very well. I know she would want me to tell you that she loves you and misses you and thinks very often of the fun times you had together. Sandy, if you read this, I know that we corresponded and I just want you to know that I hope you have happy thoughts of your mom today and know that I am praying for your families peace today.

Our Sweet Lorraine, the baby girl of the Headrick family!  I remember Grandma Headrick saying a pray when Lorraine turned 50 years old... she said, my baby is half a century year old...  funny what we remember!  I know that my Aunt Lorraine & Uncle Victor and Sandi & Binky:  took great care of us! We had so many sleep overs, pool parties, and family dinners.  Making tamales for Thanksgiving or Christmas.  I have loads of summer vacation memories.  I was always grateful my Aunt Lorraine invited me to live with her, when my family moved to Oregon in 1979~~ She cared for Margo's kids and any neighborhood kid, that needed a place to stay or something to eat. That was just the way she was! Always asking questions, trying to get to know us better - or what was going on in our lives:  She was full of advice and always shared her knowledge.  Know you are loved by many people and will be missed!  Keep a watch over us ~ Until we meet again on the Lord's resurrection day!  Amen 

I miss you already. Since 1966 when we met, we stayed in touch, I left in 1993 to retire in Kansas, but we kept in touch until I lost tract of you,  about a year ago. Tried to find you my dear friend.  

We became friends, and went to the Tops weight loosing club together and had a great time together, other wise as well. We danced a lot, well I did anyway. We giggled our way through a lot too..

Like a couple of teen agers we dealt  with life.  You will be in my heart forever, dear one.  Norma Swank


Lorraine and my mom, (Norma Swank), Were good friends for many years. I remember them doing TOPS together. I remember as a young girl going to her house and when Sandra was there she would entertain me and my little sister Lisa and keep us busy while my mom and Lorraine hung out. 
I am so sorry for your loss you are in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️
