Biography

Lisa Ellen Johnson was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Lisa will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

Lisa was born on April 21, 1973 in Havre, Montana, the daughter of Edwin and Linda Johnson and was raised in Glasgow, Montana with three Siblings, Sisters Laura, Karin and Katie.

A typical teenager, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood, Lisa graduated from Interlake High School in 1991. She enjoyed her college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Lisa was able to manage the balancing act. She earned her Master’s degree in Education from Eastern Washington University and National University.

In May of 2003, Lisa exchanged wedding vows with Fouad Aboud. Empathic and loyal, Lisa was committed to making her new family happy. While everything a person does in life contributes to who they grow into, it is ultimately the same person who holds the most influence on the next generation. Lisa was blessed with a son, Zakariah. Lisa worked hard to be a good Mother to her son and she did her best to fulfill his needs, raising her child in a positive and nurturing environment.

How a person performs in the workplace can be a reflection on how they live their life. Fortunately, Lisa enjoyed what she did for a living. Her primary occupation was a teacher in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Showing a strong work ethic, she worked diligently and did her best to succeed. Lisa’s greatest accomplishment was to help others overcome learning obstacles in their education to achieve their goals in life.

Lisa enjoyed her leisure time ♥ Zak, reading, dancing, music, travel and playing with Zak, friends and family. Lisa’s passion was tutoring and her love for teaching and helping others.

Lisa passed away due to Metastatic breast cancer, on January 24, 2016 in Richland, Washington. She is preceded in death by her husband Fouad Aboud. Lisa is survived by Son Zakariah F. Johnson-Aboud, Mother Linda Johnson, Father Edwin Johnson, sister Laura Simons, sister Karin Quiroz and sister Katie downs. Lisa also leaves many other family members and friends to cherish her memory.

Services for Lisa Ellen Johnson were handled by Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary. The Visitation was held at the Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California, on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service officiated by Pastor William Vogelsang, was held at Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California, on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Lisa was laid to rest in Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California on Sunday, January 31, 2016.

Simply stated, Lisa was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. She leaves behind the legacy of a loving family, life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Lisa was a kind and loving spirit. She was a blessing to everyone who knew her. We will cherish our memories of Lisa and never forget her beautiful smile.
