He was born on April 12, 1925, in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines, to Pedro and Martina Miranda. Leon was the eldest of 7 children and was followed by his siblings Francisca, Cres Sr, Domingo, Adriano, Remigio and Rodolfo (deceased).
In 1978, Leon migrated to the United States to start a new life.
Leon is survived by his wife Clarita and children Albert, Teresita, Clarito, Chodie and Irma. He was preceded in death by his son Benedicto.
Visitation days will be on February 20 and 21, 2014, from 5:00-9:00 pm at Glen Abbey Mortuary in Bonita, California. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bonita, CA.
