Laura Cordova was born to Crescensio Rubio and Elvira Lopez in El Rosario, Sinaloa on June 9, 1927. She moved to Tijuana in 1955with three of her four children, where she married Jose Cruz Cordova. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1963, where she spent her life as a homemaker. She was kind, loving, sassy, honest, funny, fun, dedicated and absolutely unique like no other. She liked to watch boxing, baseball, enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, and laughing. She was loved by all that knew her.
She is survived by her four children: Alejandro Irigoyen (75), Irma Martinez (73), Norma Garcia (71) and Maria Manriquez (67). Thirteen grandchildren: Juan Martinez (54), Maria Garcia (54), Marcos Garcia (51), Rigoberto Garcia Jr (50), Oscar Martinez (50), Silvia Adame (48), Anna Arboleda (47), Jose Martinez (46), Alejandra Samaniego (45), Carla Rodriguez (43), Martin Manriquez (42), Claudia Irigoyen (38) and Daniel Manriquez (37). Seventeen great grandchildren: Elizabeth Torres (31), Victoria Torres (25), Nora Samaniego (24), Natalie Samaniego (24), Roman Silva (23), Alexis Morales (23), Julia Martinez (23), Cassandra Silva (19), Naydine Samaniego (18), Aiden Morales (16), Julian Martinez (16), Jasmine Monarrez (16), Emilia Monarrez (16), Samantha Adame (14), Ava Garcia (13), Isabella Arboleda (12) and Noah Cruz Arboleda (10). Six great great grandchildren: Alejandro Eduardo Camacho (12), Angelina Torres (3), Isela Sofia (3), Nathan Daniel Figueroa and Clayton Jr (2).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Cruz Cordova.
She is missed dearly and will forever be remembered and missed by all of her family and friends.
