Ambrocio is survived by his loving wife, Thelma, whom he fell in love with at first sight and courted through letters for 17 months until they married. Their life together and love lasted more than 54 years, side by side at every moment. He loved and adored his family; 3 daughters and their husbands, Grace and Ray, Regie and Travis, and Marilou and Brad; 8 grandchildren, Kenny, Kyla, Kelci, Toby, Justin, Jaddin, Jasmine, and Taylor; and 2 great grandchildren, Amiliya and Mikey.
Ambrocio will be remembered for his love of life and his compassion and generosity for family and friends. Through his career in the Navy, he was able to travel and see many parts of the world. His talent as a cook earned him the honor of Captain’s Cook in the U.S. Navy, in which he took great pride in. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling back to the Philippines with his wife to spend time at home. Ambrocio was happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends and tending to his favorite pastime hobbies.
