Linda Thompson Prescott

Linda Thompson Prescott passed away on July 5, 2024 in Supply, NC. Linda was born in Mecklenburg County to Amanda Ireland Thompson on June 12, 1950. She graduated from Parkland high school. She married Charles Leroy Prescott on December 23, 1970. She worked in the food industry for most of her life, but retired in retail from Walmart in Shallotte, NC. Her favorite thing to do was spend time at the beach with her husband, children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t at the beach, she could be found in the kitchen cooking delicious food for her loved ones.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Ireland Thompson and her brother Elmer “Pete” Lee Thompson.

Linda is survived by her husband Charles Prescott, her four children, Marvin, Krissy Prescott (Chris), Derek Prescott, and Arin Prescott (Heather). Her six grandchildren, Kriston (Tim), Kasidy (Dan), Brandie (Brian), David, Dane, and Aidan. Her two great grandchildren, Westlyn and Dawson. And special family Tala and Dylan. Linda also cared for multiple foster children throughout the years.

A celebration of life will be held in Davidson County, NC, where Linda resided for 28 years of her life.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family asked that any donations be made to a hospice care center in your community or the American Lung Association.
