He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shrimping, oystering, and clamming. He loved going to nascar races and taking his mustang to the drag strip. He loved hanging out with family and friends, cooking out, drinking beer and chilling over at the shed (pond). He would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.
Loved gardening and farming, he had a huge green thumb, he would baby his garden and then invite family and friends over to give them vegetables.
James is preceded in passing by his parents, James B. Brown, Sr and Florence Clewis Brown; his wife, Joanne Irene Brown; his son, James "Joey" Joseph Brown; and his siblings, Deborah Ballard, Frankie Brown, Darryl Brown, and Sharon Triggs
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Roy A. Brown and his spouse Roberta, James "Jimbo" B. Brown III and his spouse "Jay", Jack S. Brown and his spouse Shannon, and Jodie Ann Brown; his sisters, Betty Rayl and Beverly Maggard; grandchildren, Austin, Kaleb, Matthew, Carlee, Grace, Jacqueline and Payton; and his great-grandchildren, Abel, Joseph, Harley, Khloie and Remington.
