My Aunt Pat was all about class.  When I think of her, I picture her in navy blue pants and a white polo shirt.  She was the fiercest, most professional croquet player of all time.  Maybe it was the legendary stories my mom told me about how she played in Florida, or maybe it was just that stoic look she held during the game; but whatever it was, you wanted her on your team, not against you.  This mild mannered little lady would swing the mallet effortlessly between her legs and NEVER miss.  It's odd that this is what stands out in my mind, but that image was one of grace.  She never bragged, never trash-talked, just beat you to a pulp on the course. :)  I will miss this calm, enduring class and grace and will attempt to add more of it to my life and actions.

You are the greatest mom and biggest inspiration in my life. You guided me to find Jesus as my Lord & Savior. We will take care of dad. Enjoy Heaven!

My cousin Pat had a smile that made you feel she really cared about you. I have great memories of Pat when we grew up. The skating on the frozen ponds and the canal and the Sunday picnics at Collins Grove. She was a beautiful lady with a generous spirit. May your memories of Pat help you through this difficult time.

Although we played cards seldom, taking a dollar from this grand lady when she lost made he eyes fire up just like her mother's did. The competitive nature in her showed up in any sport she tried. And her compassion for others was just as evident. We miss her deeply and and will always love her. our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wes and Judy

Her passing is a loss to us all. Pat and I are second cousins. We played together as kids occasionally in the 1950s when my family would visit relatives in Montana. I didn't see her again until the 1970s when we were both living in Atlanta, she with Gavin and me with my new wife and daughter. Over the last 20 years she and I would cross paths in Montana for family celebrations, family picnics, funerals. Pat was always fun and full of energy. And yes, she was beautiful. A very happy person, delightful to be around. She will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of one my cousins whom I always admired. Since childhood I saw her only once. My mother (Margaret), my wife (Gwen) and I visited Pat and Gavin in their home in Seattle near the end of May 1962. I remember Pat being very kind and interested in others. She was, also, very pretty. May God be with her family and all who have been close to her, giving His eternal blessings of peace, joy, and love.
