Patricia Ann McCormick

Patricia Ann McCormick, better known as Pat, Hon, Mom, Grammy, Dr. Mom and Lady, went to heaven on April 30, 2018 at 7:23a.m. at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her loving husband Jim, her children and friends.

Pat was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Royal Oak. She graduated from Oakland University and became a teacher. She met, fell in love, and married the love of her life, Dr. James Joseph McCormick Jr. on August 5, 1966. She moved to Miami, Florida and lived there until moving with her family to Boca Raton, Florida in 1981.

Pat was an amazing wife and mother. She loved her husband Jim for 52 years and left a legacy of four children: Jim, Tricia, Annmarie and Margie and eleven grandchildren: Cassie, Alicia, Allie, Gabe, Josh, Ryan, Asher, Riley, Brady, Samantha, and Patrick. And one great grandson Max.

Pat will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as an amazing woman, full of joy, strength and wit. She fought cancer with great courage and grace. Her positive attitude and bravery inspired all around her. She will be greatly missed. Our world is a little dimmer without her light.

Services will begin with a viewing on Sunday May 6, 2018 at Babione Funeral Home, located at 10060 Calle Comercio Dr. Boca Raton, FL 33428 from 2pm-5pm. The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 7th at 10 am at St. John’s Catholic Church located at 10300 Yamato Rd. Boca Raton, FL 33498. Following the mass, please join us for a Celebration of Life at The McCormick residence. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the JDRF, to help find a cure for diabetes.
