Lisa Ann Jebb of Hillsboro Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully the evening of December 26, 2018, in the comfort or her home at the age of fifty-nine. Lisa was in good spirits on Christmas and well-aware of her surroundings – a loving family and holiday joy, also in the comfort of her home. Lisa was always immersed in boundless love and wonderful care (doubtless because Lisa was always boundlessly loving and wonderfully caring), and the time leading up to her passing was no exception.
Lisa was born and raised in Southeast Florida, and graduated from Norland High School where her competitive spirit manifested in, among other things, her synchronized swimming. Lisa is survived by her daughter (Brittany Greyber), granddaughter (Olivia Greyber), grandson (Jebb Greyber), mother (Monique Jebb), sister (Winnie Standish), brother (Dorian Jebb), brother (Christopher Pellon), and a host of adoring family members and friends. Already having reunited with Lisa in heaven are her grandmother (Lisa Richards), father (Ernest Jebb), and nephew (Dorian Jebb, Jr.).
Lisa positively impacted the lives of many every day of her life, on both professional and personal levels. Lisa’s favorite word was “believe,” which speaks volumes for those who knew her well and, really, even for those who did not – “believe” defined the inspirational person that was Lisa and the extraordinary life that she lived to its fullest. Professionally, Lisa was a successful and excellent event planner who took great pride in her work (though she never thought of it as “work”), literally brightening the lives of others through her “work.” Her professional motto was “changing the world one event at a time.” Personally, Lisa also took great pride in bettering the lives of many – just about all of her free time was dedicated to her family and her unwavering charitable / volunteering efforts. As to her many charitable / volunteering activities, Lisa was most active with Meals on Wheels (sitting on the board).
Above all, though, Lisa’s greatest pride was her tremendous (which speaks to the kind of mother Lisa was) daughter, Brittany. Lisa and Brittany were not just mother and daughter, they were best friends. One of Lisa’s many life passions was traveling the world, and she was blessed to have done most of her traveling with Brittany; indeed, together they traversed most of the globe. Lisa will be deeply missed, but never gone – her footprint will forever exist, especially by way of her daughter and grandkids.
Visiting will occur this Sunday, December 30, 2018, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Both the visiting and the funeral service will be held at Babione-Kraeer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida, 33432. For those inclined to do so (though such is certainly not expected), a charitable donation to Pencils of Promise in Lisa’s name (in lieu of flowers or the like) would be very much appreciated by Lisa and her family. With such donations, Lisa’s family will be building a school for underprivileged kids abroad, furthering Lisa’s charitable legacy for many years to come.
