Linda was born in Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from Western Hills High School and then the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a Medical Assistant Degree. This knowledge proved useful in business as Linda took a position with the Sun Sentinel. Linda then went on to become an award winning TV Producer, winning awards for the Yale University project and many others. Linda advised many Fortune 500 companies on how to spend their advertising budgets. She went on to produce many TV production projects for them.
What makes Linda different is her heart of love. Linda has the heart of King Jesus. A servant’s heart. Linda taught Sunday School to children at Calvary Chapel Deerfield Beach. She loved animals and had pet dogs throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed movies, especially those of the Jane Austen genre.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Rourke; son, Christian Kelch; grandson Grayson Kelch; brother Wayne Shields (Katherine); brother Gary Shields; stepmother Betty Shields. Preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Shields and infant brother Kenneth Shields, Jr.; mother, Mary Banfield (Shields); grandson, Hunter Kelch; husband Terry Kelch; and husband Kenneth Galligan.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 15, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Babione Funeral Home, 10060 Calle Comercio Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33428
Burial will take place on Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064
