Harry K. Fisher, Jr. of Boca Raton passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the VAMC Hospice Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Kathryne, his son, Eric Christopher of Haleiwa, Hawaii and Harry’s sister Rachel E. Macchione of Kissimmee, Florida.
Harry was born in Ashland, Kentucky on July 3, 1940. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. as an Embassy Guard in Naples, Italy and Machine Gunner in Vieques, Puerto Rico from 1960-1964. He attended Brevard Junior College and the University of Kentucky. He was employed by I.B.M. for 23 years as a Senior Technician. He was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 13051.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Internment will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:15 A.M.
